Dayna Son is a graphic designer based in Manhattan, NYC. Currently an incoming graphic design intern for @NBCU. Previously @Alta, an AI fashion tech startup.
At the moment, I see myself as a graphic designer interested in working on research and concept-driven projects that balance design with art. I aim to find a way to communicate ideas with an additional refreshing touch, like a splash of lime.

The Tower of Babel
(Web Design, Media Art)
This project explores overstimulation by transforming media footage into a spatial video tower that overwhelms the viewer from every angle. Inspired by Nam June Paik's satellite videos, it creates a parallel between the infinite expanse of outer space and the overwhelming excess of contemporary content. Through head tracking, the viewer can turn in all four directions (up, down, left, and right), yet remains confronted by the same facade, suggesting that immersion does not always offer escape but can itself become a form of enclosure.
