Dayna Son is a graphic designer based in Manhattan, NYC. Currently an incoming graphic design intern for @NBCU. Previously @Alta, an AI fashion tech startup.

At the moment, I see myself as a graphic designer interested in working on research and concept-driven projects that balance design with art. I aim to find a way to communicate ideas with an additional refreshing touch, like a splash of lime.

Sansa (Branding, Print, Web)

SANSA is a graphic identity rebrand for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sansa, the Buddhist Mountain Monasteries of Korea, built around a seven-volume book series, one chapter per temple, and an accompanying website. Drawing from a childhood visit to Buseoksa, the visual system holds the quiet restraint of mountain monastery architecture against splashes of color and a contemporary playfulness, repositioning the temples for foreign visitors.
